About Samantha Busch:
I’m Samantha Busch, a fashion, fitness and lifestyle blogger out of Charlotte, North Carolina. I was born and raised in Indiana where I attended Purdue University for my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and went on to get my Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in 2012.
I started blogging in 2010 while I was on the road with my husband Kyle Busch, who is a championship driver in the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series, as a creative outlet to express my style and share fitness, recipe and beauty tips and engage with the fans.
Kyle is a current competitor in the top three divisions of NASCAR; the Monster Energy Cup Series, the Xfinity Series and the Camping World Truck Series. In the Monster Energy Cup Series, which is the highest level of the sport, he won the championship in 2015 and has 40 career victories. In the Xfinity Series, he won the championship in 2009 and with 91 victories to date, he is the winningest driver in the history of the series. In the Camping World Truck Series, he has 49 victories to date, which is the second most in the history of the series. He and I have also been owners in the Truck Series since 2010 and our team has captured a series-record 63 wins and five owner’s championships.
In May 2015, Kyle and I were blessed with the birth of a healthy baby boy, Brexton. We struggled for a long time to conceive and eventually had to do IVF in order to have our miracle baby. Knowing first-hand how hard this is to go through, I documented everything in an attempt to help ease tension for those who also have to go down this path. God placed it on our hearts to not only share our journey, but to also financially help others in their IVF journeys – more on that below!
In addition to being a wife and mother, I’m also dedicated to our work with the Kyle Busch Foundation (KBF). We strive to help people in the community through a number of fundraising efforts, such as supplying children in need with Christmas presents and gifting high school girls with beautiful prom dresses to wear who might not have been able to afford one otherwise. We have also created a branch of the foundation called the Bundle of Joy Fund where we help local couples pay for IVF treatments. As I previously mentioned, having gone through IVF first hand and having the greatest joy in the world, Brexton, because of it, it is our mission to financially help other couples have their own bundle of joy!
In January 2017, I also fulfilled one of my lifelong dreams of opening my own online clothing boutique. Murph Boutique (ShopMurph.com) is an online boutique which offers a collection of styles, sizes and price points for every woman, so that she may look and feel her very best and most confident self every, single day of her life. My Grandmother, whose nickname was Murph, was the original fashionista. She carefully curated her closet with clothes, jewelry and shoes which not only stood-out, but also proved that a woman could be both powerful and feminine. She lovingly taught me that same style on dozens of shopping trips throughout my childhood.
With more than 35 races all over the United States on Kyle’s NASCAR schedule, we lead a very busy, but fun lifestyle, so I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I love sharing it with all of you!
